Tonight the Penguins (47-25-8) (102 pts) head to the Isle to take on the Islanders (30-38-12) (72 pts). On February 12th, 2011 Penguin fans woke up shell-shocked. They quickly went to their calendars and circled April 8th, 2011. The next game between the Pens and Isles after the "Ambush on the Isle". 

As a Pens fan one can only wish for blood and retribution. Its natural. The thing is though that is most likely not going to be the case tonight unfortunately. We might see a couple staged fights, as the Pens have inserted Godard into the lineup. We may also see Engelland go. I imagine that will pretty much be the extent of it all though.

The Pens can't worry worry about revenge. They have the playoffs to worry about in less than a week. The Islanders on the other hand only have on thing on their mind come Monday....

More than anything, I am hoping for a complete obliteration of the Islanders and their entire organization tonight. The Pens are gonna come out on acid, trying to make a statement. They want to kick the living **** outta that team tonight. Nothing would make me happier than seeing the Pens run up the score tonight, then after the game bring Mario down from his box, have him urinate on the Isles logo at center ice, then flip the proverbial bird at the crowd and Garth Snow as he walks off the ice smiling.

That last part is a long shot, but a guy can wish can't he?

The Pens are not the only big game on the schedule tonight. Philly takes on Buffalo in a game with huge playoff implications. The Rangers lost last night so if the Hurricanes can win both of their remaining games the Rangers will be golfing come Monday too. Poor Brandon Dubinsky...

The Islanders are a joke of a franchise. They had some teams in the 80s, but haven't done **** since then. They hardly fill their dump of an arena with 13,000 people even when they are a playoff team. Keyword "when". Its not a usual ordeal. Their owner's name is Wang...
